Q: What to do to prepare for a massage?

1. Drink plenty of water in the 48 hours before and after your massage a gallon a day is recommended to increase blood flow to the muscle.
 
2. Clear your schedule for the remaining hours in the day to enhance the post massage relaxation experience.
 
3. BE with yourself after the massage,  allow the mind body connection. you can record your thoughts and feelings 
 
4. Turn off all communication devices one hour prior to the massage and try to keep them off for the remainder of the day
 
5.  No alcohol or mind altering drugs preceeding the massage as the effects of these will be heightened
 
Q: Was that massage really an hour?
 
A: Probably not
 
Namaste Massage provides itself in being present for you. Generally it takes 15 minutes for your mind to relax which is why a full 75 minutes is suggested.
 
Q: My massage did not feel complete?
 
A: Then it was not.
 
Prior to your massage we will discuss your expectations and your past massage experiences. The goal is for you to have the massage you expect. Even if you have areas that require extra attention,  you will still receive a full experience. 
 
Q: I felt exposed
 
A: Then you were.
 
Your comfort and sense of safety is paramount for the massage experience to be successful. Draping of areas which are not being worked on is MANDATORY in the State of Florida.
 
Q: I really wanted to say something but I did not feel right in talking. Am I supposed to talk during a massage?
 
A: Communication is key.

All your concerns and expectations will be addressed prior to your massage. If we forget or you need to cummunicate a concern then please feel free. You are not a hostage. Please exercise free will at any time. 
 
Conversation is not required during a massage because the goal is for the mind to turn off.
 
Q: I did not feel that the therapist was really paying attention to what I needed.
 
A: Then you are right.
 
The difference between a good massage and a great one is ATTENTION. Namaste Massage prides itself in paying attention. Your body is always sending signals and our duty is to pay attention and shift when necessary so that you know that this massage about YOU and what you need.
 
Q: I was really disappointed with the massage but I did not want to say so. I just won't come back to this person.
 
A: Please tell us 
 
The three C's of a great massage. Constant pressure, Constant attention, Constant flow. This is the magic! If one or all three of these are off, do not pay for the massage and tell your therapist why. Massage is 100% about YOU and exceeding your expectations.     

All Massage Therapists are licenses by the State of Florida and conduct themselves in an extremely professional manner at all times. Any inappropriate and unlawful solicitation will end your session immediately and you are therefore required to pay the full amount of your session that you previously secured.
